I received great service. The girl I spoke with was very informative. Answered all my questions. And told me about all the good things, nearby. Looking forward to staying here.

Ask any current and former resident at Utowers, they always say to avoid this place like the plague unless you actually have no other choice. Unfortunately for me, I didn’t listen and thought what’s the harm for a short term lease. Building is incredibly old; maintenance is terrible and takes forever to get to you; front staff is rude and most of the time isn’t helpful. Also, the wifi is unreliable and so slow which is not fun when you’re a student working solely online. Definitely the worst... high rise on campus, but it’s one of the cheapest so to be expected. Not only that, they recently replaced the windows in the complex and do so by entering units without residents permission or notice. Maintenance just shows up and if you don’t answer, enter your apartment without any prior consent. I am not the only one who has experienced this, multiple residents have mentioned that maintenance has entered their apartment and moved things without permission.
PS don’t listen to any of the advice the front desk staff gives you regarding parking in front of the apartment for move in/out. You’re better off parking in a garage or meter because you will get ticketed even if the staff claims it’s okay then when someone gets towed or ticketed, also claim it’s not their fault.

Do not live here, this should be the last option you look at and if all else fails live here. Wifi is trash, washer and driers are terrible and half don't work, and they've started doing loud construction starting at 8 am. So if you love being woken up to the sound of a drill and hammer every morning this is the place for you.

Hello! We are very sorry to see this type of review! You will be happy to know that we have made many changes since you've lived here!
We have made MAJOR upgrades to the WiFi including an AP and Ethernet inside each individual apartment. This has... been HUGE for people being able to take virtual classes.
Almost every single washer and dryer has been replaced as part of a lobby upgrade. We also have someone on staff that can repair and issue within just a few minutes.
And lastly, the construction you speak of was most likely the window replacement. This was absolutely an inconvenience but per the City of Ann Arbor, it had to be done. This project is 100% complete and each apartment now has brand new windows!

I'd agree with the person leaving a 1-star review: The lady that gives you the tour is not polite at all and very pushy. She wants you to sign the contract right away. You do get you are not the only place people are going to look at, right?
On the other hand, prices are not matching the ones in the webpage, so information is really fishy.

I recently called looking for a room, and the woman I talked to on the phone was an absolute MONSTER. She yelled at me and told me I was stupid for thinking I would find something in Ann Arbor for less than $800 a month. For being new to Ann Arbor, I had no idea what to expect. I WOULD NOT recommend U Towers as they are VERY rude and VERY unhelpful. VERY dissatisfied.
